If at any time this status changes and the student begins on-site classes, they will be required to provide proof of all necessary immunization requirements.<\/p>\n<h2>Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (German Measles)<\/h2>\n<p>New York State Immunization Law requires all students registered for 6 or more credits, born after 1957, prove immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella. Students who are not in compliance with the mandatory requirements will not be allowed to attend the University, live on campus or participate in extra-curricular or co-curricular activities.<\/p>\n<p>Public Health Law 2165 requires proof of immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella:<\/p>\n<h3>Measles:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Two doses of live measles vaccine given on or after the first birthday, or<\/li>\n<li>Physician documented history of disease, or<\/li>\n<li>Titers (a blood test) showing immunity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Mumps:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>One dose of live mumps vaccine given on or after the first birthday, or<\/li>\n<li>Physician documented history of the disease, or<\/li>\n<li>Titers showing immunity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Rubella (German Measles):<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>One dose of live virus rubella given on or after the first birthday, or<\/li>\n<li>Titers showing immunity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Note: Students enrolled in fully online programs are not required to provide immunization records.
